This beautifully sculpted 'Band of Brothers' crew gift came to me from a private collector for repair and restoration. Several very fragile parts of the guns had broken off and been lost. I moulded and cast new parts and rebuilt the barrels of the guns.  I repaired all the parts using bronze resin and a a series of pinning to give the broken parts strength. I made sure that the repair was seamless which can be a tricky task in bronze resin. I then used art finishing techniques to blend the repair to the original art work. I gave the group a final clean, wax and polish to bring up his beautiful bronze colouring.
